Grand Opening Info:
Friday, June 1st: Ceremony begins at 12 noon at the trailhead. Group and individual rides commence after the ceremony. Lunch is NOT provided on Friday, so bring something, or eat before you get there. The gate to the mountain is locked from sunset to sunrise each day.
Saturday, June 2nd: Group and individual rides begin at 8 a.m. Lunch is served at 11 a.m. I’m told this will be pizza from Mellow Mushroom. First come, first served. We’ll have some schwag to give out during lunch, as well. The local chapter is NEABA, Northeast Alabama Mountain Bicycle Association. They’re a great bunch. Make sure you meet and mingle with them while enjoying their new baby.
